Principal’s Welcome
At Napperby Primary School we believe that the education of children is best served by developing and maintaining a strong partnership between home and school. We work closely with families to ensure we have the best possible support in place to support student learning, student wellbeing and student achievement.
At Napperby Primary School we very much value parent participation and encourage parents to take part in the many informal and formal opportunities that arise to get involved with their child/ren’s learning. Check the link to our Governing Council as a great way to start!
Our school priorities include: Literacy, Numeracy and Attendance. More information on these can be found by reading our School Improvement Plan.
At Napperby Primary School, The qualities of “Powerful Learning’ are:
RESPECT | RESPONSIBILITY | CONFIDENCE | PERSISTENCE
Student leadership is encouraged in a variety of ways including through participation the SRC. Selected students also attend the GRIP Leadership workshop each year. An active Governing Council meets twice per term to ensure community participation in current and future planning.
I hope you and your child/ren enjoy your time at Napperby Primary School and I look forward to working with you to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for them.
Rob Jeffries, Principal
